Coity Military Castle Challenge

Our Military Castle Challenge is aimed to be a fun morning for all the family. It will be brought to you in association with Coity Festivals and the Army Cadet Force. 100% of all profits raised from activities within the castle will be given to the Velindre Cancer charity as Chosen by Mr David Thomas and Richard Thomas and will be donated by the Coity Festivals Group. Forces Fitness Ltd will ensure 20% of all profits from our race will be put back into our local community. This money will be used on projects that will improve the Health and Well- Being of our local Community and managed by a team of local Individuals / residents ! Its simple. Come along and have some fun while raising money for a great cause.
We have the fantastic group Coity Festivals co-ordinating our activities inside the castle. We will have activities such as - Air Soft, Military Stand with weapons demonstrations, fun games for the kids, Hot drinks and food stands and a bar. Access to the castle will be a donation of your choice to our chosen charity that can be thrown in our donation bucket at the entrance.
We are holding two races and all the family can get involved! - If you think you are up for the challenge that includes - running, carrying a 20lb Bergan, pulling tyres, crawling under camouflaged netting and then beating our very own Castle Gate Guard to finish and pick up your medal!! Then this one is for you!!
5km Race - (Regsiter by 10:15 start 10:30)
- 1600 meter run
- 1800 meter run with 20lb Bergan
- 200 meter Run to Tyre Pull
- 1200 meter Tyre pull with rope
- Crawl Under Camouflaged Net
- 200 Meter run
- Beat our Castle Guards who will Guarding the castle gates with Pugil Sticks
- Presentation of Medals
5km Race Entry fee = £17 pp
1km Race Entry fee = £6:50 pp
Once the Race has Finnishe Appox 12:30 - 13:30
Its our Adult Tug of War Competition! Team Coity Vs Team Brackla (Come and support your local area) - Free Drink for each of the winning Team and you will be presented with the Winners Shield to be kept at your local Public house!!!!!
